Return & Exchange Policy

At Shoes-By-You , each pair is designed to offer you a unique experience. However, if your order does not fully meet your expectations, we have implemented a clear, fair return policy that complies with current regulations.

We invite you to read it carefully.


1. Right of withdrawal

1.1 Non-personalized items

In accordance with Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the Consumer Code , the Customer has a legal period of 14 days from the receipt of his order to exercise his right of withdrawal, without having to justify any reason.

As a commercial gesture, Shoes-By-You extends this period to 30 days from receipt of the order, subject to compliance with the return conditions defined below.

The first return is free for non-personalized items.

1.2 Personalized items

In accordance with Article L221-28, 3° of the Consumer Code , items made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized do not benefit from the right of withdrawal.

However, for commercial reasons and in the interest of customer satisfaction, Shoes-By-You allows one exchange per personalized item , subject to the following conditions:

  • the item must be returned new, unworn and in its original condition ;

  • The exchange is made without the possibility of a refund ;

  • the new pair must be of equivalent commercial value .

    Any price difference exceeding the limit will be charged to the Customer. No compensation will be given if the value is lower.


2. Return and exchange conditions

2.1 Non-personalized items

Non-personalized items can be returned for exchange or refund within 30 days of the date of receipt.

  • First return: free

  • Second and third returns: permitted, at the customer's expense.

    ⚠️ Geographic area concerned

    The free first return and the above conditions apply only to orders delivered in France, Belgium, Spain and Italy .

    For all other countries , including overseas territories , return costs are entirely the responsibility of the Customer , regardless of the number of returns.

    Items must be returned new, unworn, in their original condition and with their original packaging .


2.2 Personalized items

Personalized items are neither returnable nor refundable, except in cases of manufacturing defects or non-conformity .

In these situations, Shoes-By-You is committed to offering a suitable solution, in accordance with applicable legal provisions.


2.3 Items offered

Any item offered as part of a competition or commercial operation cannot be returned or exchanged , except in the case of a manufacturing defect.


2.4 Deadlines

No returns or exchanges will be accepted more than 30 days after the order receipt date.


3. Conditions for accepting returns

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

Shoes must only be tried on indoors, on a clean floor. Any use for dancing will automatically result in the return being refused.

  • must be new, unworn, undamaged ;

  • must be returned in their original packaging , with all accessories;

  • must be accompanied by proof of purchase (invoice or delivery note).

Any item that does not meet these conditions may be refused.


4. Return Procedure

To initiate a return or exchange, the Customer must:

  1. Contact customer service at contact@shoes-by-you.com to obtain a return authorization;

  2. Carefully pack the items in their original packaging;

  3. Ship the package to the address provided by our customer service.


5. Return costs

  • The first return of a non-personalized item is handled by Shoes-By-You .

  • Additional returns (2nd and 3rd) are at the Client's expense .

  • Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the Customer for exchanged personalized items, except in cases of defect or non-conformity.


6. Inspection and reimbursement

Upon receipt of the package, the items will be inspected.

When the conditions are met, the refund will be made within a maximum of 14 days , via the payment method used when ordering.

Initial delivery charges are not refundable , except in the event of a defect or non-conformity.

Bank processing times may vary depending on the client's bank.
